no to sound insane or anything, but seeing this makes me want to be piloting one of those spacecraft. just the slight disorientation given off from the angle of this art is like that of adrenaline induced freedom.

Hi - great work you have here! The sense of motion you have created in this composition is very effective, I see my view spinning about 360 degrees and then coming about in an exciting series of aerial manoeuvres. The rendering of the models and the textures are excellent as well.

However, the only nit-picks I have are at the energy blue streams coming from the exhaust/ propulsion systems - they are actually nicely rendered, but appear slightly flat. I would humbly suggest that a sort of 'muzzle flash' shape be applied to make it appear more in the 3rd dimension.

Also, (as someone has mentioned before) the planet in the foreground is a bit outstanding, because the greens are quite vibrant here. As a result, they steal a bit of the focus away from some of the other elements (unless of course, this was your intention).

In any case, you should be proud of yourself - Good stuff!

thanks for the tips and the comment, I'm not exactly sure how to do the muzzle flash or how it should look.

Well, you could look up muzzle flashes on Google images - I meant them to resemble the effect you see when guns are fired in First-Person video games.

Good luck!

Whooo--eee! Now that's pretty! Great work! I love the spacecraft, the angle of the image, the planets, everything! My only critique: Most often during the day, the colour of a planet will not be so vibrant (more like the bottom celestial body than the upper one). Not to say it isn't incredibly beautiful. So... yea... well done!

Very true, very true indeed! Who cares about my nit-picky criticisms though. You are becoming an amazing artist!
