Although it looks safe, the planet is actually very dangerous. Its oceans rivers and lakes is a very corrosive acid, the plants are poisonous to all extraterrestrial life and the air, though not poisonous doesn't contain much oxygen. Despite the dangers the United Stars Federation turned this planet into a prison planet, any that escaped the prison died in the wild.

The prisoners are always working either in the orbital mines or on the gas farms, both jobs are dangerous with high death rates. All that survive a full 10 years on these jobs are often released
